1 stem broccoli

2 celery stalk, cut in thin slices

2 cup chicken broth

2 cup half and half

1/2 tsp. salt

dash of pepper

1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed

1/8 tsp nutmeg

1/2 cup cornstarch

Shredded cheddar for garnish
Cut broccoli into small pieces.  Steam or microwave the broccoli and the celery pieces; set aside.  Heat 2 cup of chicken broth with half and half and add salt, pepper, nutmeg, and cheese.  When the cheese has melted, and the broccoli and celery.  Mix the cornstarch with 1 cup of water, and add to the soup for thickening.  Add your shredded cheddar for garnish.
