2 pounds of Italian sausage

1 small cabbage; shred it using a cheese grater

2 cans of asparagus

2 small cans of tomato paste

2 cans diced, stewed tomatoes

1 whole onion

2 cans of sliced potatoes

2/3 garlic clove

Cajun seasoning to taste

Creole seasoning to taste

1 tablespoon of crushed red pepper

1/2 pound of fresh peeled shrimp

2 tablespoons of salt

6 hot peppers

1 pkg of imitation crab meat

Add water to cover the ingredients (except the canned vegetables) and bring to a boil. Add your asparagus and potatoes. Then cover and simmer on low heat until the vegetables are soft.  (approximately 45 minutes)  Stir occasionally, adding water until you get the desired consistency.
